Rabbinical & Lay leadership

Once a month, Rabbi Beryl Padorr leads the congregation in Friday evening Shabbat worship and Saturday morning study.

The experienced and talented members of our congregation lead services the rest of the month including many holiday, life cycle, and social events. If your talent is in oratory, Jewish or ritual knowledge, song & music, meals & events, or just organization and participation, there is a need and place for you where you can fit right in.

Beyond the big cities

Situated 2 hours from Lincoln & Omaha to our north, and one hour from Kansas City, Lawrence, & Topeka to our south, Beit Echad provides a Jewish connection and activities for the large rural areas of NW Missouri, NE Kansas, SW Nebraska, and SE Iowa.

For those whose only option is driving 2 to 3 hours to the large cities and becoming lost in their larger Jewish communities, we offer a convenient and welcoming alternative where you can (if you choose) be the big fish in our small pond.

Cost won't be a barrier

Early on BE decided that cost would not be a barrier to membership.
